I'm the single father of a 13 year old, who thinks she's my equal. Her mother and I are on good terms. I am divorced; I lost out to a drug addiction and mental health issues, both of which surfaced while I was deployed a few years ago (those issues were hidden from me by her and her family; apparently they thought I could "fix" them).
